Reverend Dr. Keith R. Hicks, the son of James and Greta H. Hicks, was born on April 16, 1969 in Henderson, NC. He is a graduate of Athens Drive Senior High School and a veteran of the United States Army. Dr. Hicks has an earned Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, a Masters of Theology in Church Ministry from Regent University, a BA Degree in Business Management and an AA Degree in Economics from Campbell University. Dr. Hicks is married to the former Katrina A. Champion. They have one daughter, Minister Gabrielle, a son-in-law, Ian, and one son Jarie (Jah-ree). They have one beautiful granddaughter, Jalani. At age 10, he accepted Jesus as Lord and was baptized at Manson Missionary Baptist Church. In 1999, he and his family united with Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Raleigh, NC. At Faith, Pastor Hicks served as an Associate Minister, Youth Director/teacher, Sunday school superintendent and teacher, Website Coordinator and VBS Director. Pastor Hicks has served in the Wake Missionary Baptist Association as the Youth Auxiliary President, Union President, and currently as the WMBA 4th Vice-Moderator.


Dr. Hicks accepted the call to the Gospel Ministry of Christ in April of 2006, was licensed in December 2006 at Faith Missionary under the pastorate leadership of Reverend Doctor George A. Jones Jr. and was ordained on May 31, 2009. On September 03, 2013, Reverend Hicks accepted the call to serve as Pastor of Revelation Missionary Baptist Church. On Sunday, September 08, 2013, he preached his first sermon as Pastor elect, “Lord Why Did You Give Us a Pastor” Jeremiah 3:15; 23:1-4. On Sunday, December 15, 2013, Rev. Hicks was installed as Pastor of RMBC. One of his favorite passages is Psalms 1:1 as he believes the way we walk and with whom we walk tells a lot about who we are and more importantly, Who’s we are.
