RMBC In-Reach and Outreach Ministries

Working Together to Make a Difference

1. RMBC-Matthew 25:35-Outreach Ministry  – There is a place where a person’s physical and spiritual needs ought to meet in one place; this place is called the church, which is why with the partnership of others, RMBC facilitates a grocery distribution and praise and testimony service on the 3rd Saturday of each month. This ministry is also the extended arm of the church; the evangelists, the caregivers and those who are willing and able to go into the hospitals, prisons, convalescence facilities, individual homes, neighborhoods, schools and anywhere else the Gospel and a loving arm is needed to reach out and welcome in.  And at any other time if you are in the need of prayer, please don't hesitate to call or write us.

"For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."     Matthew 25:35-40

2. RMBC-John 6:11-Food Fellowship Ministry – Sharing a meal and food fellowship was a very important aspect of Jesus’ earthly in-reach and outreach ministry so this is why we also have a group of individuals who have a passion for cooking and preparing wonderful meals.  Throughout the course of the year from New Years, Easter, Mother/Father’s Day, Homecoming, Children's October Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas; we come together with our community, family and friends to share a meal, encourage one another and most of all, lift up the name of Jesus!  This ministry also assist with funeral repast and other special food required services.

" And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost."  John 6:10-12

3. Men, Women and Young Adult Coffee and Christ -Ephesians 4:3-Spiritual Bond Ministries – These ministries are a time for like individuals to gather, share, care, support and look after one another and an excellent time to spiritually and mentally sharpen gifts, talents, skills, hearts and minds.  These ministries also gather to discuss specific acts of service the group can carry out as well as others ways to work and hold one another accountable.

"With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."     Ephesians 4:2-6

4.  DEAR Jesus-Matthew 19:14-Children Ministry - From our elementary age to those preparing to transition into young pre-teens, we aim to teach train our youth in four core values of which we call DEAR Jesus: Daily Devotion with God; Christian Education; Association with like-minded individuals; and wholesome times of Recreation.  Our children meet on every Tuesday 6:30-8:00pm.  Every First Tuesday is our youth education and dinner night

“Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence”.                        Matthew 19:13-15

5. RMBC-Psalm 84:10-Doorkeepers Ministry – From the time you leave your front door or enter the church grounds until the time you exit the service, there are those in the midst standing by to watch, pray and attend to your needs; they are a part of the RMBC Doorkeepers Ministry.   Our transporation,  parking attendants, ushers, greeters, first aid, safety, and hospitality ministry members are here to greet, meet and serve.

“Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed. For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.”      Psalm 84:9-10

6. RMBC-Psalm 150-Music Ministry - Without a doubt, music is a ministry and because God is greatly to be praise, we are honored to lift up His name in song.  On every first Sunday, we have our mass Voices of Revelation and from this dedicated group of singers, spring forth several specific choirs; our Women Choir (2nd Sunday); Men choir(3rd Sunday); Youth Choir (4th Sunday); and Young Adult Praise Choir (5th Sunday).

"Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord."        Psalms 150

7. RMBC-Matthew 19:6-Two Become one Holy Matrimony Marriage Ministry – This ministry is designed to support, uplift and promote the sanctity of marriage as only God intended. It is for the one man and one woman, either engaged or married, who would like to build their marriage based on the foundation and principles of God.  Plain and simple, God’s plan works and for those marriages which are willing to follow them, their union will go beyond the scope of merely being civil, but will be forever Holy.  First marriage gathering of the year is on the first Friday in February for dinner and a discussion from 6:00-9:00pm

“And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."    Matthew 19:4-6

"So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep"
